Mung-Shiung Shieh M.D., Chairman of Shih Chien University visits JUFE

A delegation led by Mung-Shiung Shieh M.D., Chairman of Shih Chien University (USC) and his wife Lin Chengzhi visited JUFE from October 23rd to 27th. Liao Jinqiu, chairman of the board, Wang Qiao, president of JUFE met them separately.

According to Liao’s word, Shih Chien University is an elite application-oriented university with good reputation. Both sides should strengthen the mutual cooperation and strive for a broader platform for teachers and students’ exchange. In the conference, Wang highlighted the remarkable achievements of both sides under the close cooperation in recent years. Wang and the guests exchanged their opinions upon how to enhance the students’ exchange, teachers’ visiting, etc. Wang also issued the letter of appointment for Ms Lin Chenzhi as a visiting professor at JUFE.

Mung-Shiung Shieh said that it has been six years since he visited JUFE the first time on April 2009. The cooperation of two universities has contributed a lot for the educational development of both Taiwan and mainland China. He hoped that his visit could further promote the mutual communication and cooperation.
